write-up goes with this post other than a gallery full of photos for 3D printing enthusiasts. \u00a0This was an exercise to demonstrate how large models can be printed using the <a href=\"http:\/\/store.3dprintingsystems.com\/index.php?route=product\/product&amp;product_id=42&amp;tracking=4f6ba0ffd6ee1\" target=\"_blank\">Up! printer<\/a>\u00a0[Hah! if you buy use this affiliate code please!]. \u00a0The hub of the wheels are about at the limit of the platform size of the printer but the body is constructed in a modular manner.<\/p>\n<p>The rover itself is driven by 4 cheap continuous rotation servos like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madox.net\/blog\/2011\/01\/24\/mecanum-wheel-rover-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">the original<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madox.net\/blog\/2012\/01\/02\/oddbot-launchpad\/\" target=\"_blank\">interfaced with a cheap MSP430 Launchpad<\/a> and controlled by a wireless Wii Nunchuk. \u00a0The webcam in the photo above is connected to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madox.net\/blog\/projects\/tp-link-tl-wr703n\/\" target=\"_blank\">TP-Link TL-WR703N<\/a> which acts as an access point and streams to any WiFi
